For entry requirement purposes, ‘Grade C’ in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted as comparable to ‘Level 3’ in English Language and Chinese Language in the 2007 HKDSEE and from that time on.

Terms of Appointment :

Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service terms. The employment period is from September 2019 to August 2020. They will be required to work during office hours from Monday to Friday on either a regular or ad-hoc basis. The actual hours of work will depend on the operational needs of the Department and the availability of the successful candidates.

Candidates should apply in writing with a completed application form [G.F. 340 (Rev.3/2013)] which is obtainable from any Public Enquiry Service Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centre of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s Internet web site (http://www.csb.gov.hk). The completed form together with a full C.V. and a copy of academic transcripts of current study and certificates of HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent should, by 14 June 2019, reach the Law Drafting Division, Department of Justice, 3rd floor, East Wing, Justice Place, 18 Lower Albert Road, Central, Hong Kong (Enquiries: 3918 4611).

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.
