Following is the transcript of remarks by the Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, today (March 9) after attending an event of the Médecins Sans Frontières:

Reporter: What do you think of Zhang?Dejiang's comment?

Secretary for Justice: I was just saying that what Mr Zhang said in fact is perfectly consistent with what we have been saying all along. In particular can I stress the point that in taking forward our constitutional development, we stress and it is the fact that we need to work on the basis of the Basic Law as well as the relevant interpretation and decision of the NPCSC.
