Secretary for Justice to visit Nanjing

The Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, will visit Nanjing from next Monday (November 14) to November 16 to attend the 4th Hong Kong Legal Services Forum and speak at the opening ceremony.

Organised by the Department of Justice on a biennial basis at different places in the Mainland, the theme of the forum is "Jiangsu ยท Hong Kong - Together we seize global business opportunities". The forum aims to promote the role of Hong Kong as a centre for international legal and dispute resolution services in the Asia-Pacific region and the latest developments thereof, as well as highlight the international legal and dispute resolution services that can be provided by Hong Kong in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative.

During his stay in Nanjing, Mr Yuen will meet with officials of Jiangsu Province. He will also visit Nanjing Court of Arbitration for Hong Kong and Macao and meet with leaders of the Hong Kong and Macao legal expert service team of Jiangsu Province.

Mr Yuen will return to Hong Kong in the morning on November 16.
