Secretary for Justice to visit Shanghai

The Secretary for Justice, Mr Rimsky Yuen, SC, will visit Shanghai from tomorrow (November 17) to November 19 and speak at the 9th Lujiazui Law Forum.

Mr Yuen will give opening remarks at the forum under the theme of "Belt and Road and internationalisation of legal service". The event is co-organised by the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice, the Shanghai Bar Association, the Shanghai Notary Association, the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the Hong Kong Bar Association and the Law Society of Hong Kong.

During the visit, he will meet with officials of the Ministry of Justice, the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Justice, as well as representatives of the legal and dispute resolution sectors, to enhance mutual co-operation and exchanges.

Mr Yuen will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on November 19.
