The Department of Justice ("DoJ") is actively engaged in the promotion and development of the wider use of mediation to resolve disputes in Hong Kong and has been organising a variety of events including an ongoing Mediate First campaign (“the campaign”) and the Mediate First Pledge Event 2017 (“MFP 2017”) to enhance public awareness of mediation and its benefits.
The DoJ has on 6 March 2017 launched the Mediate First Pledge Logo & Star Logo Competition ("Logo & Star Logo Competition") which is open to all secondary school students in Hong Kong. The Education Bureau, the Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council, the Grant Schools Council and the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council are the supporting organizations of the Logo & Star Logo Competition.
