To facilitate the exchange of best practices between lawyers in the private sector and DoJ, a Professional Exchange Programme was launched in September 2019. The programme is designed to facilitate two-way exchange; the exchange arrangement need not be concurrent or reciprocal. Qualified solicitors and barristers in the private sector may apply to experience working in the DoJ (recommended duration: three months or more on a full-time basis). Law firms and chambers interested in accepting DoJ exchange lawyers for attachments of one to three months are invited to register for matching with suitable candidates from DoJ.
