The Department of Justice invites views and comments on a proposal to enter into an arrangement with the Mainland on reciprocal recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters (“Proposed Arrangement”) by 24 September 2018. The views and recommendations presented in this Consultation Paper are put forward for the purpose of facilitating discussions. They do not represent the final views of the Department of Justice. We welcome views, comments and suggestions on specific issues identified in the Consultation Paper and any other aspects of the Proposed Arrangement.
