Ms. Lam was born and educated in Hong Kong and obtained her law degree from the University of Hong Kong. She joined P. C. Woo & Co. in 1981 and was admitted as a partner in 1989. She is the partner-in-charge of the Property and China Departments of the Firm. Ms. Lam has a broad range of experience in legal work relating to commercial and corporate matters as well. She provides professional legal advice to PRC enterprises that plan to invest and trade in Hong Kong. She also helps PRC enterprises to set up subsidiaries in Hong Kong and handles its mergers and acquisitions, drafting of business agreements and loan documents (including loans secured by PRC properties).

Ms. Lam was also admitted and enrolled as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England, a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore, and has been practising as a lawyer of the People’s Republic of China since 2006. Ms. Lam has been appointed as a China-Appointed Attesting Officer, Notary Public and Civil Celebrant of Marriages. Ms. Lam is currently the Chairman of the Property Committee and the Vice Chairman of the Mainland Legal Affairs Committee of The Law Society of Hong Kong.
