Alex Au is an Of Counsel in the firm’s Hong Kong office who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, foreign direct investment, and other corporate matters.

Mr Au has extensive experience advising overseas and local public and private corporations from a wide spectrum of industries and private equity funds, in local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, corporate restructuring, foreign direct investment, distribution arrangement, and other general corporate matters in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and other parts of Asia.

Prior to joining Winston & Strawn, Mr Au worked in the Hong Kong office of a major international law firm.
