Jenny Koo is the Director, Service Promotion of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation responsible for promoting and developing Hong Kong's external trade.

Ms Koo is responsible for formulating and implementing the HKTDC's promotional programme of Hong Kong's service sectors. These include advertising and marketing services, design and licensing services, film and entertainment, financial services, information and communications technology, infrastructure and real estate-related services, logistics services and professional services.

Ms Koo joined the HKTDC in 1989 as an Executive Trainee and has been posted to branch offices in Vienna, Frankfurt and Paris. Over the years, she has been involved in the launching of new fairs and conferences, including the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART), the Asian Financial Forum and, more recently, the Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference, Asian Licensing Conference and "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" Campaign.

In the mid-1990s, she helped set up the HKTDC's Service Promotion department and, in 2000, was involved in the establishment of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide – a global network of 33 Hong Kong Business Associations spanning 24 countries. She also headed the secretariat of the Federation, as well as the bilateral committees established by the HKTDC together with Japan, the United States, the European Union, Korea and France.
