Mr Sam Tsui has been actively involved in a wide range of maritime and commercial litigation and arbitration (including LMAA, Singapore and Hong Kong) in respect of charterparties and bills of lading disputes, marine casualties and crew's personal injuries, freight forwarding and terminal liabilities, all aspects of P&I and FD & D Club work and international trade matters. He also advises clients on handling the sale and purchase of the vessels, drafting maritime contracts etc.

He also has extensive experience particularly in handling matters relating to general insurance, marine insurance and life insurance. He has been involved in various types of work such as insurance disputes resolution, subrogated and liability claims. He also advises clients on matters relating to compliance and regulatory matters, insurance policy drafting and commercial agreement negotiations.

Mr Tsui graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a B.A. degree and P.C.LL, as well as the University of London with a LL.M degree. He also completed Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration in the University of Reading. He attended Maritime Summer Short Course at the University of Southampton. He is a Chartered Arbitrator and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and also a Senior Associate CIP of Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Mr Tsui is a Partner of Tsui & Co. and the head of Shipping and Insurance Department of the firm.
