The Department of Justice spares no effort in promoting the use of mediation as an amicable means to resolve disputes in various sectors. We believe that the promotion of mediation culture to students would allow them to appreciate the importance and practicability of mediation as a life skill to resolve conflicts amicably. This is of vital importance to maintaining good personal interrelations and constructing a harmonious community.
Themed “Mediation: Constructing a Harmonious Community”, winning students from past events will demonstrate how peer mediation can be used in common school disputes and how mediation can be used to prevent escalation of school disputes from various perspectives. Afterwards, the winners of the Competition will be invited to share their views on mediation.
