The School Mediation Seminar cum the Prize Presentation Ceremony of the Mediation Essay Competition 2020 was successfully held on 21 November 2020 in the Function Hall of the Justice Place, with real-time livestreaming broadcast online. Themed “Mediate Your Way out of School Disputes”, the Seminar explored peer mediation, the common school disputes that could be mediated and how mediation could be used to prevent escalation of school disputes from various perspectives. Afterwards, the winners of the Competition were invited to share their views on mediation. Certificates and trophies were also presented to the winners of the Competition by the Honourable Ms Teresa Cheng, GBS, SC, JP, Secretary for Justice in the Prize Presentation Ceremony.
