Since 2012, the Department of Justice has been organising the Mediation Week biennially to promote the wider use of mediation in Hong Kong as an effective means to resolve disputes.
The Mediation Week features a series of events, including thematic seminars on school, family, medical, consumer and other areas of mediation.
The highlight of the week is the Mediation Conference, which provides a valuable platform for practitioners and the public to gain insights into the latest developments in mediation and dispute resolution, through exchange and sharing by both local and overseas experts.
