With China becoming an important force of global economic growth, there is a growing demand from Mainland enterprises for high quality legal services. As Shanghai plays host to “Expo 2010”, this will be an opportune time for Hong Kong to demonstrate our strength as a regional centre of legal services and dispute resolution. The “Hong Kong Legal Services Forum” will be held in Shanghai on 6 July under the theme of “Hong Kong Legal Services – Global Vision”.
The legal profession in Hong Kong has been established for a long time and has accumulated a wealth of experience in diversified businesses and with international exposure. The Forum will bring together experienced Hong Kong practising solicitors, barristers and arbitrators who will share their experience in various practical legal issues including legal risks in international trade and resolving commercial disputes, as well as to examine the strategies on dispute resolution through analysing an example case.
